Ellen Spencer Susman has more than 25 years of experience in radio and television as a reporter, anchor, host, producer and moderator. She is currently the host and producer of Balancing Your Life with Ellen Susman, a television series that airs nationally on PBS. The program is groundbreaking in its mission to address the choices and challenges women face juggling career, family, marriage, and motherhood. The show is ethnically and professionally diverse and the guests offer solutions about work/life balance.

Ellen as a reporter.Susman began her career in 1977 as one of the original hosts of Philadelphia's KYW-TV Evening/PM Magazine and had a successful career as a reporter and anchor. She created a Speakers Bureau in Bermuda, which produced conferences for multi-national corporations. In 1994, Ellen created, produced and hosted "The Aspen Institute Televison Show," which focused on leadership issues with people in media, business and government. From 1998-2002, Susman moderated a monthly, live conference on the Internet. "Leaders Forum " provided insight into leadership development and techniques to clients as diverse as Lands End, The Veteran's Administration and Protective Life Insurance Company.

In 2001, Ellen became fascinated with the challenges facing women in the workplace. With support from companies such as Reliant Energy, JP Morgan Chase, KPMG and others, The Myth of Superwoman conference was a sellout.

Ellen frequently addresses women's groups on the issues of career and family. Her firm, Ellen Susman Enterprises, Inc. specializes in creating, moderating and facilitating programs and seminars for the corporate marketplace. Past clients include Amegy Bank, JPMorgan Chase, Vistakon, Don Henley, The Bermuda Heritage Foundation, the Santa Fe Institute, The University of Houston, Long Island University, and many others.
